Ready and Waiting

Ready and waiting in his RAF Spitfire cockpit, this painting focuses very much on the pilot rather than the aircraft. A reminder of what these pilots and their ground crews did in World War 2, particularly at the Battle of Britain.
Interestingly it sold to a US client.
